Terms of Use
The short version
- Nanabi is general guidance for parents. It is not medical advice and does not replace your child's doctor.
- Some content is free. The paid subscription renews automatically through Google Play until you cancel. There is no free trial.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and your local law.
- Your rights as a consumer under the law of your country always apply.
1. Agreement and who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and [ŞİRKET UNVANI], a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye, [ADRES] ("we", "us"), for the Nanabi app and nanabi.app. By using Nanabi you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
You download Nanabi and buy subscriptions through Google Play, so Google Play's terms of service also apply to those transactions. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
2. Who can use Nanabi
Nanabi is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or over, for personal, non-commercial use. It is not made for children and children should not use it.
3. Not medical advice
Nanabi gives general information for parents. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your child's doctor, nurse, health visitor or lactation consultant.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number: 911 in the United States and Canada, 000 in Australia, 111 in New Zealand, 112 in Türkiye.
Every child is different. Developmental ranges in Nanabi are typical ranges, not targets, and a child who does something earlier or later is not necessarily behind or ahead. "When to see a doctor" sections list signs that are worth checking with a health professional; they are not a complete list. If you are worried about your child's health, development, feeding, weight or sleep, or about your own health, talk to a health professional.
Our content draws on public guidance from organisations such as the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the NHS. These organisations have not reviewed or endorsed Nanabi.
4. Free content and subscription
Part of Nanabi is free. A paid subscription unlocks the rest of the content, as described in the app at the time you buy.
- Price. The price, billing period and currency are shown in the app and in Google Play before you confirm the purchase. Taxes are applied as Google Play shows them.
- No free trial. Your first payment is taken when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, whichever you chose), and Google Play charges the payment method on your Google account, until you cancel.
- Price changes. If we change the price of an existing subscription, Google Play will tell you in advance and, where required, ask you to accept the new price. If you do not accept it, the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
- Restoring. Your subscription is linked to your Google account. On a new install, use Settings > Restore purchases.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. In the app, go to Settings > Manage in Google Play, or open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Nanabi > Cancel subscription.
- After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. No further payments are taken.
- Uninstalling the app or deleting your data does not cancel your subscription. Cancel in Google Play.
- Refund requests are handled through Google Play under Google Play's refund policies. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
6. Your anonymous account and data
Nanabi creates an anonymous account on your device. It is not linked to an email address or password, so if you lose your device, reset it or uninstall the app, your progress may not be recoverable. Your subscription can still be restored through Google Play.
You can delete your data at any time; see Delete your data.
7. Licence and acceptable use
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nanabi on your devices for your own family. Nanabi's text, design, programs and other content belong to us or our licensors.
You agree not to copy, sell, republish or distribute Nanabi content; not to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it; not to interfere with the app or its servers; and not to use Nanabi in a way that breaks the law.
8. Changes to the app
We keep improving Nanabi, so features and content may change. If we remove a significant paid feature during a billing period you have paid for, you may cancel and, where the law requires, receive a proportionate refund. We do not promise that the app will always be available or free of errors.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using Nanabi at any time; cancel any subscription in Google Play and delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms, and we will tell you where we reasonably can. If we end your access without a valid reason, we will refund the unused part of a paid period.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Nanabi is provided "as is" and we make no promise beyond those in these terms. Some laws give you guarantees that cannot be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act and similar laws in other places. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on general information in the app (see section 3). Our total liability to you for any claim related to Nanabi is limited to the amount you paid us for Nanabi in the 12 months before the claim.
We do not limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [UYGULANACAK HUKUK: Türkiye], and the courts of [YETKİLİ YER] have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country or state where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence where your local law allows it.
Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or the app changes. We will update the effective date above, and for material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and stop using Nanabi.
